Another day about taking life decision. What to eat for lunch?
1. Colombian food because summer at @banjojack_ro comes with a Colombian chef for these season preparing @sabor_colombiano_en_bucarest. So Papas Rellenas, Empanadas with different kinds of dips and arepas con chicherones?
2. Pure American, a burger with garlic fries, and chicken wings?
Beer is the best pairing here and I tried the new Luma, which aromas match with the spices.
I have to confess I have never tried before Colombian food, some similarities with Argentinian, but I found this a good choice for beer and football or all kind of races, according to the big screens installed here. 🍺

This is a special blend between a crispy Sauvignon Blanc with gooseberries & grapefruits and a barreled Chardonnay buttery and spicy a perfect pair for the local food. And here comes the place, for some of you more exotic then the wine, Guadeloupe, in a chic “habiation” near Grande Anse beach with same name already taged in. Cheers 🥂

Bottled ginger is available to be used for preparing whatever cross your mind. From lemon ginger ice cream to every cocktails you can think about. Here I have to decide between an Aperol spritz and the ice cream. Hard choice each has a refreshing spicy taste with dominant ginger. Hence to my last visit in Guadeloupe I am dreaming for some rhum agricole with ginger, but I choose the ice cream. Here these is artisanal made, mainly sorbeto, sometimes without sugar from many fruits and flavours. Pistachio and salted caramel are still my favourites. Must try

Bologne was established by a family which was forced to leave Brasilia during the 18th century hence the color of the house same with the branding. A long history, passion and tradition in making rhum agricole lead to an important player in the market.

I have discovered a beautiful old city with colonial architecture which reminds me of New Orleans. Artists are invited here by the municipality to do whatever they consider around these vintage houses as you may see. The place has a special charm that bewitched me. This and the ti punch 😉🥃

We continue our journey in the land of sugar cane enjoying all this land has to offer like fresh-cut coconut.
After one-hour on boat (with sea sickness) we reach Maria Galante island.
This is the first place where I start feeling better and I could smile for a picture surrounded by friends.
Did you know that the mills (wind power) were used before to crush the sugar cane ?
Everything else in the production flow was driven by steam. Tradition here lays down in 18th century.
